The school logo significantly reflects the genuine happiness in the lives of our learners through our
stimulating and caring educational environment. Joyce Broadhead Pre-Primary is a truly South African
school committed to promoting social and moral values such as respect, fairness, co-operation and
personal responsibility. We are an independent, co-educational pre-primary school that specialises in
educating children from 2 - 6 years old including a Grade R/0 year.
A personal, child orientated education

A well researched educational programmed which is carefully planned and structured to meet the developmental needs of each child is offered. Our teachers are qualified and specialized in the pre-primary / foundation phase. As a nurturing family orientated
community, we strive to develop each child through play and activity to reach his/her full potential. Children are exposed to constructive, imaginative, creative, physical and intellectual experiences. Our integrated daily programme includes free play times
in the many play areas under teacher supervision and observation, as well as structured activities and ringtime with the group teacher. A comprehensive Grade R programme is included in accordance with KZN Education Department curriculum requirements.
In addition to our daily programme basic computer lessons are included for Grade R’s.
